Exposure of South African property to receive boost
International investors will be able to take advantage of a comprehensive method of surveying South African property, as a real estate group has announced that it is going to offer inspection trips.
Aida National Franchises plans to team up with African Olive Travel Concepts to offer the tours to overseas customers who are assessing the prospect of South African property.
The intention is that potential investors will be able to incorporate the trips into their holiday, enabling them to get a feel for the country.
"The tours will be tailor-made for overseas investors who are thinking about buying South African property and who want to get to know the country better before taking the leap," Deirdre Kallmeyer, of African Olive Travel Concepts, told Overseas Property Professional.
There will be four tours that interested parties can go on, to the Western Cape, the Garden Route and Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and a Limpopo and Mpumalanga route.
Tours such as these have been popular in Europe, according to Ms Kallmeyer, but this is believed to be the first time they have been used in South Africa.
